ABOUT
THE COMIC
Pentasmal was spawned from a random doodle
in my Math notebook in sophomore year of highschool. I don't have
that doodle anymore, but, as I recall, it wasn't very interesting
anyway. From that I drew up a couple comics, showed them to my friends,
and then did nothing with them for a while. That was until I found
that comics existed on the internet.
Endowed with such information, I set out to take advantage of this
new possibility with my aforemented comics. So, I made up a crappy
little webpage, put the comics on them, and then nothing happened
for a couple days. I made a few more comics and put them up, but
there was very little of a webcomic community at the time, and hence
hard to get people to find your work. So, in order to get some exposure,
I emailed Tycho of Penny-Arcade, and he linked to me, and that got
me my initial fanbase. A few months later, I joined Keenspot, and
the rest is history. Uninteresting and mundane history, but history.
